MF Doom is a wizard (I think all hip-hop fans know that) and apparently Jneiro Jarel is a magician. Because this dynamic duo really out did themselves with their JJ Doom project. The beats are on point with flowing electronic rhythms and steady drum beats full of bass and snare. The rhymes, like anything MF Doom does, are slick and direct and of course combining both parts together makes it all that much better. I have always been fascinated and basically entranced by MF Doom’s deep, eloquent and expressive voice that would be appropriate anywhere from announcing sporting events to taking over Dennis Haysbert’s job as ultimate commercial announcer. The combination of the neat production from Jarel, who has worked with bands such as TV on the Radio and Damon Albarn from Blur, and MF Doom’s voice is truly mesmerizing and definitely worth repeated listening’s.
