2. Chance the Rapper- Coloring Book

Any artist that is going to focus on releasing music for free in order to make sure as many people hear what they have created is going to have a special place in my heart and Chance the Rapper maybe the most famous proponent of freedom of expression literally. It helps a lot too that Coloring Book was an amazing compilation of gospel and rap and beauty that was the anthem of my summer living in Tulsa trying to figure out what being a teacher would entail. Waking up every morning to the sounds of Chance’s silly drawl motivating me to go and “teach these kids” really engrained the album in my subconscious and I have nothing but positive, inspiring memories associated with this album.
